The owner took the time to explain in detail what was done to my car & why it was needed. & the workshop manager was awesome - by keeping in regular contact with me - to let me know how progress was going. This made me feel very safe about my car being back on the road. I will Definitely be taking my car back for more great services from here.... Mark at TFD was very professional and straight onto booking our car in. He managed to get our car in for a road worthy within 24 hours and clearly and easily communicated expectations aswell as the job being done in great time. His shop has lots of parking and is very close to canelands which makes for a great distraction while the car was getting looked at. I would not hesitate to recommend TFD for any tyre and mechanical needs.

We have found TFD Tyre & Mechanical exceptional. Mark (owner) is a man with extensive mechanical knowledge; intelligent problem solving skills and an honest work ethic. We were travelling in our motorhome when the clutch needed to be replaced. Lucky for us this happened in Mackay. Mark very obligingly picked up our van and kept it safe while we continued to travel due to previous commitments. The fix took quite a time as there was a wait on workshop space (another large vehicle already in workshop), parts, computer programming and other small issues identified. During this time Mark was open to us contacting him regularly for updates. He was cautious moving forward until he had researched thoroughly the particular workings of the computer side of our Jayco Fiat MH and therefore prevented further grief to our MH. First of all I would like to say a huge thank you to Mark and his team for bringing my little mitzy van back to life. We had so many mechanics miss diagnosed her and give us with ridiculous hi quotes so Marc manage to fix her plus more for 1/4 of the price and as a foreign traveller it’s nice to find one of the good guys someone you can trust he even when out his way to do one final check before we set off to re-insure our safety on our lap around Australia with no extra charge it was 5 star service and one happy and relieved man.
